Pipeline
Although it wasn’t pumping this trip, Pipeline still put on a beautiful display with some amazing barrels and stunning clear water.
Quiksilver Pro Rounds
Some images from the rounds at the Quiksilver Pro over the weekend.
Roxy Pro Finals
The Roxy Pro semis and finals were held on Saturday 9 March at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast. Semi 1 saw Tyler Wright (Aus) defeat reigning world champion Stephanie Gilmore (Aus) 14.50 to 12.50. Semi 2 resulted in Sally Fitzgibbons (Aus) defeating 2011 world champion Carissa Moore (Haw) 14.97 to 10.93.
The final was held the same afternoon with Tyler Wright claiming the title over Sally with her final set of the session. The final scores were 17.97 (8.77 / 9.20) to 16.66 (8.33 / 8.33).
Another QuikPro Expression Session
The third expression session from the Quiksilver Pro on the weekend. Expression sessions allow surfers to surf freestyle without any specific judging requirements, it’s a photographers dream!
