Strahan is a small town and former port on the west coast of Tasmania, Australia. It is now a significant locality for tourism in the region.
It is located on a beautiful harbour at the end of the world, 298 km west of Hobart. Strahan lies on the edge of the unspoiled beauty of Macquarie Harbour and the Gordon River. It is the last outpost of civilisation on the West Coast of Tasmania and is surely one of the loneliest places on earth.
