A wet and muddy afternoon watching Norths v GPS rugby.
Used my Nikon 70-200 f2.8 lens for this game. It did a good job, but I had to wait for the game to be played on my side of the field, which was a little frustrating at times. At least those quiet times when the play was on the other side of the field gave me time to dream about a 400mm f2.8……
I grabbed a few shots whilst watching a college volleyball game in Hawaii last month.
I felt the black and white treatment was the best processing method for these shots for a couple of reasons. The 2011 Sunbowl game, the championship game for Gridiron Queensland, was held on Saturday afternoon at Langlands Park on the southside of Brisbane.
The game finished with the Gold Coast Stingrays defeating the Northside Rhinos 20-7.
