Spent an hour at the HMQS Gayundah wreck at Woody Point near Redcliffe. The location of the wreck was not what I expected, so I was pleased I managed to walk away with these shots.

Following on from the previous post, here is the video I promised showing the video of the “trash” session in the ocean.
A wedding with a difference on Saturday. Tammy and Adam had their ceremony and reception at The Spirit House at Yandina, then joined us at Coolum Beach for some amazing shots in the ocean. This concept usually carries the term “trash the dress”, but that sometimes gets over-used. So rather than grouping the shots under a term, we should just let them speak for themselves. Now for the teaser – there is a video of the beach session that will include some of these photos. I’ll upload this video over the next few days….
Till then, here are a few images from the ceremony.

Thought I’d try something different this evening, so I setup my camera on the tripod in my car and went for a drive into the city and back. All up it took me 2 hours – you’re about to see the whole trip in 72 seconds. I set the camera to take a 1 second exposure every two seconds, then I used Quicktime to put the individual photos into an image sequence and exported this into a movie file. All up there are 1792 individual frames in this video.
Jess and David were married at Currumbin on the Gold Coast on Saturday 11th October. The ceremony and reception were held in a mansion overlooking the beach, which allowed us to head to the rocks for photos late in the afternoon.

A late Friday afternoon in early October saw Shane and Kirsten make their way to Mt Cootha for some photos and the reception after being married in the registry office in town. Both Shane and Kirsten were after some informal, yet different, shots before joining their friends and family. I’d have to say, this was the most relaxed wedding shoot I’ve been involved in.

A family portrait session with good friends Matt and Mishelle. Just to spice things up a little, they brought along Tomas and two other family members (of the four legged kind). Now this certainly was a challenge, but I think the results show we managed to pull it off quite successfully (although I’m sure Littles would disagree after the body slam from Tomas).

Some images from a trip to Alma Park Zoo on the northside of Brisbane.

A few recent weekend trips to Hervey Bay and Tin Can Bay on the Fraser Coast gave me the opportunity to shoot some of the local wildlife.
